romantic engagement session at mount lemmon in tucson | genelyn + lucas

Gen reached out to me via Instagram after a photographer friend of mine referred me to her! I am so glad she reached out to me because she mentioned that she recently got engaged and that her fiancé was going to be deployed soon. So she wanted me to capture their love before he left for his deployment. Coincidentally, her engagement photos took place on the 4th of July! That day my husband and I made a small road trip to Yuma, Arizona to meet up with them. When I first met Gen + Lucas, they were so excited and ready for their photos to be taken, although I must say that Gen did mention it was going to be weird to be in front of the camera because she herself is also a photographer in Washington! Check her out! I remember telling her, “GIRL I GOT YOU!”! Mount Lemmon is the highest point of the Santa Catalina Mountains in Tucson! So you can definitely imagine that it felt like we were on top of the world! Thank you Gen and Lucas for trusting me to capture your love story and for serving our country ❤️

Mogollin Rim Couples Session in Payson | Erin + Stephen

payson mogollon rim engagement session, Arizona engagement photographer, northern Arizona wedding photographer, northern Arizona elopement photographer,

I am currently sitting at the LAX airport as I type this you guys! You may be asking yourself, “Where are you headed to?!” and the answer to that is Tokyo! It has been a lifelong dream of mine to go to Tokyo, and I will finally be visiting Tokyo!

Enough about me! Let’s talk about these two cuties! When Erin mentioned to me about wanting to escape the desert and head up north from some greenery, I said “Say no more queen. I got you!” So we headed out to Payson, in Northern Arizona. Mogollon Rim, in Arizona is a beautiful place to visit if you ever decide to escape from the heat. I’ve only been there twice, and I am always amazed at how beautiful Mogollon Rim is. It honestly feels like you’re not in Arizona, but somewhere up in Washington or Oregon. I had so much fun capturing the love these two have for each other, they made it so easy! I am always down to travel with my couples as an Arizona Couples Photographer.

Boarding soon! Ciao!

Sedona Elopement at Tlaquepaque - Francesca and Mitch

Arizona Tlaquepaque Wedding Photographer

As a former bride, I can agree that wedding planning can often be stressful, but at the same time a fun experience! There’s so many things to do when it comes to planning a wedding, from finding a venue, to finding a florist, booking a DJ, a caterer, coming up with a guest list, and the list goes on an on. You get the deal.

There’s something romantic and old-fashioned about the idea of eloping. The fact that a small amount of guests, such as your loved ones, will witness you and your soulmate seal the deal. Francesca and Mitchell reached out to me a couple months before they tied the knot. They mentioned to me that the reason they were eloping, and their plans and ideas that they had in mind for their special day. When they mentioned that they were getting married at the Tlaquepaque Chapel, I squealed with excitement! The Tlaquepaque Chapel is such an intimate place, and for them to read their vows in front of their close loved ones, was just so romantic and dreamy!

Below are just some of the photos of their beautiful elopement in Sedona, Arizona. Tlaquepaque in Sedona, Arizona is a must when you come visit Arizona. Or might I say, even elope ;)
